Smart Meter & Utility Deployments
Smart meters and supporting AMI infrastructure are central components of modern utility operations. NES can support pilot programs as well as larger system-wide deployments through field installation resources, project coordination, training, supervision, logistics, quality control, and reporting.
Our approach emphasizes attention to detail across planning, staffing, supervision, tools, workflow, logistics, documentation, and reporting.
Inside Plant (ISP) & Data
NES specializes in Inside Plant (ISP) and data center infrastructure solutions, delivering the foundational hardware, cabling, and design required to keep networks running at peak performance.
We engineer, furnish, and install all aspects of network infrastructure. From the deployment of server racks, network enclosures, cable trays, and overhead pathway systems to all inside plant services including the installation of equipment and cabling on distribution racks and frames.
We also install, terminate, and splice all power and network cables. We complete all testing using industry-standard diagnostics to guarantee optimal throughput, complete compliance, and comprehensive documentation.
Demand Response
NES can support utility-sponsored demand response initiatives through field deployment and service activities involving smart thermostats, load-control devices, and related customer-side technologies, where applicable to the customer’s program.
Services can include deployment planning, field installation, customer-facing field support, service, documentation, and program support.

Experience
A NEW COMPANY BUILT ON DECADES OF EXPERIENCE
NexGen Energy Services was established in August 2023. While the company is relatively new under its current name, our management team and field personnel bring extensive industry experience and hands-on knowledge.
Our management team, including company leadership, has more than 100 years of industry experience, and many members of our field workforce have spent many years working in utility, wireline, telecom and network infrastructure, installation, and field-service environments.
